I got the weirdest fortune cookie today. It had two fortunes, which seems to happen often lately for some reason. That's not the odd part - it turns out the two fortunes are...
First fortune: Now is the time to try something new.
Second fortune (in the same cookie): The best prophet of the future is the past.
Now, don't they basically have opposite meanings? Maybe the guy who inserts the fortunes was a little confused and didn't know which one to put in there.. "New or not? Ah, who cares. I'll put both in there and he can choose the path to follow."
Oh well, it was cool. And the chinese food was great too!
