Parity, suckaz! The Canadian dollar value hit the same as the U.S. dollar today - for the first time since the 1970's. I woke up to an alarm (since we had some money invested in it). Yay!
Parity! Parity! Parity! It's gonna be a loopy day around here - not much sleep and we're giddy!

I've always wanted to try anchovies on pizza. I've never tried them and people (most of whom have likely never even seen a pizza with anchovies in their life, much less tried it) hate anchovies on pizza.
I decided to try it for myself.
We ordered a pizza with anchovies on it tonight - um... I didn't like it. I can add that to curry (and the related cumin and turmeric spices), which is pretty well the only other food I really don't like... Not bad - I'm not a very picky eater.
I'm glad I tried it but anchovies on pizza - not my favourite. Sara liked it though.
The rest is hers. I get the rest of the other pizza - with hot peppers and suicide sauce. Washed down with a grape soda it was perfect. Then a couple of sips of Dr. Pepper (the drinks came free with the order) after for dessert. Mmmm! Now I'm hungry again.

The other day, I watched a guy get out of his car, take his bag and drink cup from a fast food place and casually leave them on the curb next to the car parked behind him (or not so casually - just walked right out and put them there). Dumping his garbage on the street. In my neighbourhood. Not setting a very nice example for the two kids with him. I sat there and thought - either he's selfish and inconsiderate or dumb. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt by assuming selfish and inconsiderate. He was also parked in a no parking zone. I thought "He should get a parking ticket."
Then like 5 minutes later, I look at his car and see something on the windshield... Hmmm... Interesting. Got a parking ticket! I started singing "K-A-R-M-A That is the word for today!" Then as Sara was looking at me funny I told her he got a ticket! Woo hoo. The parking enforcement people (read: my new best friends) are cool.
