I love mixing musical styles together... finding interesting sounds and turning them into a song.

Lately, what I've been listening to for ideas is East Indian music... I have no idea why, it's just really interesting to listen to - though I have never listened to a whole song (just a few seconds at a time), I find some parts really interesting as bases for hip hop or dance music...

I just added my songs to SoundClick.

The songs on there are also on my music Website but they have streaming audio (so it's quicker to load) and people can vote hot or flop... which puts it on the charts if people like it.

I'm on fire! Well not really... I don't need to stop drop and roll... but I uploaded another song I made on my music Website. It's called "Call Me." I like it... makes me wanna dance.

Do you ever think "I should post to my blog today" and you can't think of anything to say... so you start logging in, hoping it takes a while to give you a chance to think of something to say... you look outside for inspiration... nothing.

Oh well, at least I posted something.

If Sara keeps singing Christmas songs, I think I might be tired of Christmas music by the time Christmas actually gets here... :)

I just uploaded a new version of my song House Move to my music website.

What? The Jerky Boys have broken up? Very sad. No one told me.

Last night, I was looking through an old file to try to find a baby picture of me with headphones on and me with... well, I"m not sure what they're called - I used to call them "tam tams" but I don't know if that's just the french way or that's just what I called it when I was a kid... they're like little tiny drums you use your hands with.

Anyways, I didn't find the pictures there but I found a bunch of old quotes I had written down for my Web site - funny things my friends have said - and I also found a list that I wrote called "Funny Things To Do At A Gas Station." Maybe it's because it was late, or maybe it was surprise, or maybe it was my delivery of the jokes, or maybe it was really funny, but we were sitting there laughing so hard - I had tears and could hardly talk, it apparently sounded like I was crying because I had hiccups and I was laughing - Sara was just laughing and looking at me and then we'd laugh some more. It was comedy. I will type the list up at some point.

I just finished another song... It's on my music website and it's called House Move. It was fun to do. I think Sara and I will be working on a Christmas song now...

Mmm! We ended up having ice cream (with sugar cones) and cake for supper last night. It was great!

Thursday, September 09, 2004

My sister said the other day that when she was a kid, she couldn't wait to grow up so she could eat icing for supper if she wanted to.

Then, one day, she did exactly that - had icing for supper.

And tonight, I'm not hungry for anything specific... so I think Sara and I are going to have dessert for supper... not after supper or anything, that's what we'll eat. We're adults... why eat supper every night... why doesn't everyone eat dessert for supper once a year or something like that?

I'm thinking ice cream and waffle cones... and whatever else looks good at the store.

I love long weekends. Though they confuse me the following week... I thought it was Tuesday today but it's Wednesday. And, to tell you the truth, I have no idea where yesterday went. Oh, wait. I just figured it out, my leg was hurting so I didn't really work - just watched tv instead... OK then, I love long weekends and days off.

I just found this as my old profile on the National Capital Freenet site - I guess I wrote it up like probably 10 years ago...

User's interests:
eating cheese, really bad infomercials, sleeping (try it - it's fun!), Oopies, dance music, making people laugh, standing on my head, and singing Yankee Doodle (try it - it's fun!)

User's affiliations:
Affiliations... lemme see... I'd like to work in a cheese factory, someday... but I guess I'm supposed to put CURRENT affiliations huh?

User's Project:
I want to become Jamaican - and I want to be a guest on David Letterman's show

User's Plan:
Well, I went to visit a cheese factory already, so I guess I have to get a new plan...

How about this.... naaahhhhh

Ok, ok I've got it!!!! My plan is to.... no, that's silly...

Ok, my new plan, is to go... oh, no that's too boring.

Ok, no plan.

(well, except for making alt.fun.with.luc the most popular newsgroup, in alllll the land!)

Someone I know works in a call centre and he was saying he got a call from someone who had been waiting on hold for 45 minutes. When he got on the line, the caller said "what? are all you a**h*les eating lunch?"

Then, the person I know answered "No, not all of us are."

That is comedy!
