We were walking around Chinatown the other day and we bought a whole bag of fortune cookies for $2.89. And the fortunes were really good. The best one - I really like it - is "Aim high. The sky's the limit." I took a picture but I don't feel like cropping it so just imagine in your head what the piece of paper in a fortune cookie looks like and then imagine that fortune written on the piece of paper. There you go.

Merry Christmas - Happy New Year!

My dad, he so crazy!

Thursday, December 14, 2006

Ok, without going into details, one of our friends' dad and the dad's wife are angry at her - and now they told our friend that she isn't welcomed for Christmas at her dad's place.

I've seen it happen with other people that people get so angry that they will do major things like that to prove a point without realizing that in the big picture, love for your family is the most important.

Anyways, here's Luc's Real Life Tip (more serious than usual): Don't let anger be more important than love. It's Christmas - love people! I'm sounding like a hippy but I'm serious. Peace, man!

I think Sara agrees with me because she's walking around our place singing "Where is the Love" from the Black Eyed Peas.

The happy part is that our friend will be visiting us for Christmas instead I think. It will be fun. And she never had a Pogo (some people call them corn dogs or hot dogs on a stick) so we will eat Pogos when she visits. I have been looking forward to it for months!

I heard a funny ad for Ikea on the radio this morning (well it may have been in the afternoon I'm not sure but it was morning for me because I get up late).

The guy says something like "For those of you who celebrate Christmas, at Ikea we have real Christmas trees for only $20. That's right, $20. And for those who don't celebrate Christmas, Ikea has a way to bring the outdoors in with a five foot pine scented air freshener. It is also $20."

That, my friends, is comedy!

It's 1:14 a.m. and neither one of us feels like going to sleep.

Sara had the great idea of eating cheese.

That is what I am going to do now.

We put our Christmas tree up on Wednesday. Yesterday I bought some new gloves. Today it snowed. It is winter. Sara's really hapy - she loves winter. I like it too. Um... where are my boots?

Oh ya, I think I know where they are. That's good. Happy winter!
