Ok, so I posted earlier about how sewing machines were complicated. By learning more about it, I believe this statement to be even more correct than before (not just using it but all of the inner workings of how to get it to do specific things). Old ladies - um, I mean elderly women, who sew are EXTREMELY smart. If I was running a big multi million dollar company, and a bunch of old ladies were going to start a competing company, I think I would close up shop right away. I would likely tell them. "Oh well, I had a nice run. Good luck, ladies."

I love apple juice and I love spruce beer. Not together.

We bought a big can of apple juice the other day and I couldn't stop drinking it. It was so good.

Then, we went to a corner store and found something called spruce beer. I had been looking for it for YEARS. It's not alcoholic - it's pop (like root beer) but it tastes like trees. Yes, if you think Christmas trees smell good, imagining drinking it combined with lots of sweet sweet sugar. Seriously, it sounds weird and most people might not like it but I had some once in a while since I was a kid and I love it. I'm so glad I found some - I thought I'd never find anymore (you see ginger beer everywhere which is a tiny bit similar but not the same).

Sara got a sewing machine. Those things are complicated. They scare me.

I keep saying that if old ladies can figure out a sewing machine, how come a lot of them are afraid of getting on a computer and the Internet. If they can figure out sewing machines, they can do anything. Man if I could figure out how a sewing machine works, I would feel like I can take over the world.

Found a funny listing for a "restaurant" in Ottawa, Canada. It's called Dow Honda, which is actually a car dealership... the reviews people wrote are funny.
